Dr. Tim Hamacher gives a presentation about the CraftEngine and HeatBooster to an audience from the Climate Alliance Remscheid

Climate Alliance Remscheid visits Viking

The Climate Alliance Remscheid recently visited Viking Heat Engines’ test centre to get an introduction to the HeatBooster and CraftEngine, and a better understanding for how these technologies support the transition to a sustainable future.

The Climate Alliance was founded in 2011 by the city of Remscheid in Germany and campaigns for the use of renewable energy. Its members are companies, banks, politicians and public utilities, among others, from the local area, and twice a year they visit a company or institution that’s particularly committed to climate protection.

“We felt really honoured to be the host of this particular networking event,” say Dr. Tim Hamacher, General Manager at Viking Heat Engines. “The association is committed to sustainable use and supply of energy and the efficient use of natural materials – the same things we promote through the use of our technologies.”

The associated was given a presentation of the CraftEngine and HeatBooster before being guided around the facility. To read about the visit in the local newspaper, click here (in German only).
